Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is delayed by 1 more month, but Sega is releasing a demo so everyone can be happy.
In a turn of events, Yakuza 6 was delayed to April 17th by Sega. The company released a tweet announcement about the matter:
Yes, you read that correctly! We’re getting a February 27th demo of the first hours of the game, and players can carry that save over when the full game is released. Not only does it give eager fans time to play a little bit before release, but gamers can test it out if they never played a Yakuza before.
The push more than likely has to do with finalizing the localization and translation of the game, but it also provides a blessing to fans who are backlogged or wanted to play an additional series game before the final Kiryu installment.
It’s not too late to pre-order and play other Yakuza games before it comes out! Stay tuned for more updates as we follow the upcoming release.
